How to get a licence

You want to compete with the best? No problem, we'll show you how it's done. To ride in the Elite category, you need a Swiss Cycling licence.

What do I get out of a licence?
 

  • You collect Swiss Cycling points and thus get into the national ranking.

  • Participation in the SES Elite category.

  • Participation in other regional and national competitions that require a licence is possible.

  • Participation in international competitions (UCI MTB World Series) is possible.

  • Collection of UCI MTB World Series points at the Swiss Championships.

How do I get my licence?
 

To get a licence with Swiss Cycling you have to do the following:

  • Become a Swiss Cycling member. You can find detailed information about Swiss Cycling memberships here:
    https://www.swiss-cycling.ch/de/infocenter/registrierung-anmeldung/

  • To buy a licence you have to indicate your club and the federation you belong to when you register.

  • Once you have registered, you can order a licence from your profile.

Sighting day 2025

If you want to follow in the footsteps of Camille Balanche or Gustav Wildhaber, then sign up for the
