Biking for happiness
The 2025 World Championships will take place in Leukerbad, reason enough to discover the region. The biking region Pfyn-Finges is located in the heart of the Valais and is predestined for mountain biking with, almost year round, surrounding sunny mountains. Combined with soothing thermal baths and an imposing mountain world, Leukerbad is a place to visit more than once.
Postponed SES Leukerbad Race
The Swiss Enduro Series must postpone the opening round in Leukerbad due to large amounts of snow.
Cold temperatures persist in the Alps and currently too much snow remains on many bike trails making them unrideable. Leukerbad and the Swiss Enduro Series have therefore decided to postpone the first SES round, which was due to be held on 15/16 June. The National Enduro Race will now take place on 07/08 September 2024.
Due to the difficult conditions, the quality and safety of a complete course cannot be guaranteed by Leukerbad and the organisers of the Swiss Enduro Series. Not only are stages in the upper area affected, but also access and transfers situated lower down.
Everyone involved is aware that the new date coincides with the international UCI EDR calendar and other national events. However, racing on 8 September is the only solution to keep SES Leukerbad in this year's calendar.

If we don't hear from you, your registration will remain valid. As soon as a place becomes available, you will be notified by email that you have been allocated a starting place.
If you are unable to take part on the new date, please send us a short email that you would like to give up your place on the waiting list.
